Max Neumann is a three-time Ironman Asia Pacific Champion and the 2023 PTO European Open Champion.

Having raced professionally since 2019, his career-best 4th place at the 2022 Ironman World Championship in Kona clocked at 7:44:44 set a new Australian record for the iron distance. But the Brisbane native raised on a competitive diet of cross-country running and Orienteering hasn’t stopped there.

In 2023, Neumann stunned a field of world champions including Jan Frodeno, Alistair Brownlee and Kristian Blummenfelt to take the win on the shores of Ibiza at the PTO European Open.

Now fully healthy after a lingering injury derailed the rest of the year, Neumann is set to take on a full season bearing the colors of the Bahrain Victorious 13 racing red.
