Cassandre Beaugrand is a five-time world champion, Olympic bronze medalist in the mixed relay, two-time Olympian, and French national champion.
The way she races may look effortless, but behind that calm facade burns the heart of an absolute competitor who performs not just for herself, but also for her team.
She holds the distinction of having helped the French mixed relay team win all its four world titles, including their first one in 2018 and anchoring their 2022 win. After topping the Tokyo test event in 2019 and twice defending their world championship title, they (with Cassandre racing the penultimate leg) secured an Olympic bronze medal in triathlon – the first ever for the nation.
In 2023 she earned her first individual world title, battling through heats and a highly competitive final to win the World Triathlon Super Sprint Championship in Hamburg. She also rose to a career-high #2 in the world to become the WTCS Vice World Champion.
