The defending women’s champion produced back-to-back wins at Challenge Roth and Ironman Switzerland after she was forced to pull the plug at Ironman Frankfurt. Even on a bad day at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship last month, Daniela Ryf still managed to run her way up into fourth place before running out of real estate.

Now concluding her final preparations at camp in Jeju, South Korea, Switzerland’s pride is once again set to conquer the lava landscapes in Hawaii.
