With workman-like determination and perseverance, David Plese is on the Kona starting line for the first time since 2013. The Slovenian put himself on track for qualification after winning Ironman Barcelona late last year. Plese racked up additional KPR points placing fifth in both Ironman Austria and Switzerland to ensure his entry to The Big Dance.
