Lauren Parker delivered a dominant wire-to-wire victory at the World Triathlon Para Series in Montreal, extending her unbeaten streak in paratriathlon to four races this season.

Racing in warm conditions that ruled out wetsuits, the Australian completed the 750-metre swim in 12:05, then recorded the fastest bike split of 35:08 over 21.5 kilometres. She capped it off with a strong 13:28 over the 5-kilometre wheelchair run.

Crossing the line in 1:03:08, Parker not only posted her fastest time of the year, but also the best of her career over the sprint distance. The reigning Paralympic champion continues to raise the bar with every performance.

More racing action is on deck in Canada this weekend as Cassandra Beaugrand, Emma Lombardi, and Vasco Vilaça line up at the first supertri League stop in Toronto. On the roster of the Bahrain Victorious 13-supported Crown Racing team, they are set to commence a commanding defense of the team, men’s, and women’s titles.
